North Allegheny Songs 1960

In memory Of

Robert "Bob" Testa, composer of the School Song and Alma Mater
(also my childhood neighbor, school band director, music teacher, and friend)
Dick S. Ashcom, Jr (1909-1985), longtime North Allegheny School Board member and later President
(also my father-in-law and original owner of the 45rpm record)

The story behind these song-files:
Rob Schellhaas, North Allegheny Class of 1970-- I discovered a scratchy old 45rpm record of the North Allegheny Band and Senior Chorus 1960. I've managed to do a modest job of digitizing it, adding stereo effect, doing some EQ (equalizing) and attempting some noise and click reduction. There are still clicks and pops, but heck... this is half a century old!
I may end up trying to start again from "scratch" (pun intended) on a better lp-turntable, in order to try to remove the currently present turntable hum. We'll see how it goes, and whether time permits.

It is probably easier to download them first (right-click, save) to your hard-drive,
and then play from your own hard drive, in order to avoid time-out delays while playing.
